The Challenge
Designing a website for Samsung's diverse stakeholders – including consumers, NGOs, media, and investors – presented a unique challenge. These groups had varying levels of ESG understanding and needs, necessitating a transition from conventional PDF formats to a more engaging, web-based presentation of information.
Process to Tackle the Challenge
1. ESG material Segmentation by Users' Standpoint
My task was to segment extensive ESG content into smaller, logical categories tailored to different user needs. This involved creating four tiers of materials, each addressing specific stakeholder interests, and guiding our UX strategy.
2. Conveying Research Insight into UX Strategy
I contributed to developing a thorough information architecture, offering distinct incentives for users to delve deeper into the content. This strategy differentiated ESG materials based on the depth of information, allowing users to access storytelling content at surface level or specialized information at deeper levels.
3. Designing Key Templates by Content Purposes
